After two weblog failures, one would think I've learned my lesson by now. But, alas, I choose to keep fighting. Here I am online, once again, with my third (and hopefully, but not likely) final weblog.
My first blog concentrated with my personal life, which worked for a while until I got a little creeped out that people knew what was going in my life before I got a chance to tell them. So I tried staying low for a while before popping back up onto the web with a blog about sports (The Sports Statement). As fun as it was, it became difficult to keep writing about the constantly-changing world of sports, and if I didn't post for a few days because I didn't feel like it or didn't have the time, I was already behind in the news.
And so that brings me here. Instead of concentrating on one topic, like any smart weblogger will tell you to do, I'm going to try to go all over the place, moving back and forth from posts about my life to technology to the news to sports to whatever (I guess that shows how much of a smart weblogger I am). I might throw in some videos, some images, some useless links, and pretty much anything else to waste your time. And I'm hoping I'll have fun doing it.
So sit back and…wait, I guess…until the next post. I hope you enjoy.
Oh, and by the way, the blog name is still TBA. "The Sheil Blog" is temporary and, honestly, really doesn't sound that exciting.
